Hi , I am sending one file through MQ series queue to SAP. The file has 10 rows each of 1500 characters. When SAP receives the file, the format of the file seems to be changed, so it is failing. NOw I need to verify that MQ is not breaking each line 2 lines as the other end reports 20 rows to me. I am novice in MQ series. I have access to MQ series . So please let me know where the possible error can be ...
Is theere parameter which says what can be max length of a line in MQ
As i know in notepad, it breaks 1 line into 2 if it is more than 1024 chars.
Any help on this is highly appreciated. |

To MQ, the message is just a string of bits/bytes. It doesn't "know" what the data is, it just delivers what it was given.

You might want to run amqsbcg against the message while it is in the queue. It might shed some light on what is actually being written by the application. |

And you might as well keep in mind the changes in environment.
If only string make sure the message is formatted for MQSTR and the get is done with convert.
I suspect this is a problem between PC and Unix formats for the line change.
\n = 0x0A0D in the PC world
\n = 0x0A in the Unix world or something like that (Memory is shot).
