I did create two Queue Managers and set up Channels (both Sender and Receiver on either side) along with necessary Queues. I did start channels on both the QMs and they are in a Running Status.

I wanted to test and see how whether they are working fine.

Can someone please, tell me how can a message be transmitted from one QM to another.

Thank You

create a local queue at the receiving end, create a remotequeue at the sending end (rname is name of local queue at receiving end, rqmgrname is the qmgr name at the receiving end, and xmitq is the xmitq of the sender channel at the sending end), then use the sample ampqsput to put a message to the remote queue and check if it reades the qlocal at the receiving end.

I would recommend reading the Intercommunication Guide cover to cover it will give you lots of answer to questions that I am sure you have.
