We are currently in the process of migrating from 3.4 to 3.6. After a successfull uninstall/install of 3.4-3.6, when authenticationExit was turned on, we got a ClassNotFound error
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/workflow/java/exit/AuthenticationConstants
This class file was part of fmcojagt.jar in 3.4, however this class file is missing in the fmcojagt.jar in 3.6. The 3.6 install came with "fmcojagt.jar.depricated" jar . This file did not contain the AuthenticationConstanst class either. Was this a corrupt installation?Or did we miss something?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
class file structure has changed with MQWF 3.6. You can find AuthenticationConstants class in fmctoaut.jar now (where it belongs to) instead of the Java API file. I think this is described in the sample authentication code. |

hos,
I found this link which says that the AuthenticationConstants.class is no longer part of any jar files. So we created a new jar file with only the class file and this solved our issue.
Where is fmctoaut.jar located?
Thanks. |

Yes, you are absolutely rigth. This is the way it is designed with version 3.6. Forget about fmctoaut.jar. |
