We have configured our queue managers for SSL communication in the AIX environment, and we hit an error while starting the channels.

The configuration details are as following
MQ ver - 5.3.0.7 CSD07 with SSL support.
OS : AIX 5.1.0.0
We have two queue managers, QM1 and QM2 running on the same system and we are using the self signed certificates for SSL handshake. We followed the procedure as per IBM manual for working with self signed certificates. When we started the channels, the sender is in retrying mode and the receiver has logged an error - AMQ9637: Channel is lacking a certificate.

Could you please advice us to fix this issue.
