What is the maximum bytes a queue can hold on z/OS? If the max msg size is 100MB and the max depth can be 999999999, that comes out to a huge number. Surely there is a physical queue size limit? |

In V6, pagesets can grow to 64gig. Of course, a pageset can hold many queues.
(iirc, it was 4gb in v5.3). _________________ -wayne |

in former times, a queue was limited to 2 gb (and pageset to 4gb as wschutz already wrote) , now i think the 64gig pageset size is the queue limit. check with the mq administration guide that is related to your mq version _________________ Regards, Butcher |
