I have a problem when receiving swedish chars in meassage.
they ar simply discarded.

Are the messages being sent from a different platform / codepage then they are begin received on, or is it the same codepage on both qmgrs?

Also, just because the data does not print, does not mean it is not there. You need to look at the buffer in hex to see what the real conversion was. It may have just converted to a null (x'00').
