Hello,
I am trying to run the sample cobol program amq0put0 on AIX and I am receiving the following error.
(/usr/mqm/samp)> cobrun amq0put0
AMQ0PUT0 start
Please enter the name of the target queue
SYSTEM.SAMPLE.LOCAL
Load error : file 'MQCONN'
error code: 173, pc=70, call=1, seg=0
173 Called program file not found in drive/directory
I have done the following exports:
export COBCPY=/usr/mqm/inc
export LIB=/usr/mqm/lib:$LIB
I have compiled the program using, cob32 -xvP amq0put0.cbl -L /usr/mqm/lib -lmqicb
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Thanks |

I'm not a COBOL-AIX person. Have you tried the actual compiled copy of the sample? Does it work? Also, what is the 'cobrun' command doing? I would have thought you would execute the compiled/linked program. Is this some kind of shell that might be manipulating your LIB statement and messing things up? What version of WMQ are you using? I'm guessing the cob32 means that you are using Micro Focus COBOL? |
