I would like help with the following problem:

We have installed the MB FileExtender 5.0.0.2 in the following environment/configruation (an evaluation version with no support):

OS: AIX 5.3, 64-bit OS enabled
WMB 6.0.0.1
MQ 5.3
IBM JRE 1.4

When the broker is restarted after enabling profile changes that include /opt/IBM/MFBE/bin to MQSI_LILPATH, all execution groups on broker abend. Could this abending be due to the 64-bit OS? The version of the JRE (1.4 as opposed to 1.3.1)? I have looked through all available documentation for the FileExtender, and info is does not exist on this problem -- AIX 5.3 is supported, but is 64-bit OS also supported? I have tried to change JAVA_HOME to 1.3.1 JRE, but the FileExtender seems to have the JRE set in some place I can't locate.

Hi we are using

AIX 5.2 ML5 in 64 bit mode
WBIMB v5 CSD05
MBFE 5 Fix Pack one - plus a couple of patches
JRE 1.3.1

Note for v6 broker you are meant ot have the following APAR applied IY77292. ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/mqseries/fixes/wmbv60/
