Configuarion: Toolkit on win xp
Config mgr, Broker, JText Adapter on Solaris 8.

we would like to use sftp (ftp over ssh) using the JText Adapter?
is this possible?

Or should i immediality open a ETR for this problem?

Do you know if you can do regular ftp (without security) using JText ?
I don't think so.
Are you trying to functionality similar to FTP?

Have you looked at what the FTP Node support pack can do for you?

Use JText to send data over MQ.

Secure your MQ channels using SSL.

I opened an ETR for this.
The JText is capable of doing FTP and FTPS (FTP using SSL).

I will make a change request for the JText adapter using sftp (FTP over ssh).

That is not a solution for us. We use the JText adapter to put or get messages from a message flow into a certain directory on a certain machine.
If we put the messages on MQ, we need another client program who reads the messages from the queue and put them into the directory.
The JText adapter is capable of this, but sadle not when the machine only accepts sftp.
