I have Mq 5.3 on the mainframe and using a >Net App to Put and Get Messages.

The Application Puts messages and Commits .
Should the Application Commit after getting the messges..If So..Can you pls provide me some info abt it.

Whenever I look at the queuestatus on The Mainframe..The queuestatus has the Uncommitted messages flag Set To "Y".

The Queuemanager is crashing frequently as the logs are filled up and they dont have any archiving for the Logs.


my question is ...
what Code should be used to Commit Put Or Get on Mq.
Is there any documentation for this for .Net?

Pls Help.

I guess you mean you are using a client connection between Windows and the mainframe. The fact that your queue manager is crashing should be addressed first, since it probably indicates a configuration problem.

But, if you are asking how to commit a message, try starting with the MQSeries Primer.
