Dear All,
I am trying to instal MQseries v6 in Windows xp Professional 2002.
I am getting the error AMQ4739. When I went to Event Viewer, I see only the following message ie,
Product: IBM WebSphere MQ -- Installation operation failed.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I just went throug "Voyager's" solution where he had run a command from dos prompt. I ran that too, but still getting the same problem.
The command is
mqparms.exe /l*voicewarmup c:\msi.log

but yet I am facing the same issue.
Could you please help with a solution so that I can instal MQ v6 successfully. FYI,I have already installed Eclipse.

Check the following..
1. Is your domain userid is greater than 8 character?
2. MQ installer always creates a log file in the user's temporary folder, which is usually C:\Documents And Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\called "MSI<uniqueid>.LOG".
