I have got the similar problem as found in earlier topic

I am migrating message flows from WMQI V.2 to WBIMB V.5, which contain following statements:
SET OutputRoot.TREEASIS.user_logon = InputBody.DocRq.SignonPasswdRq.user_logon || ';' ;
I encountered following error message:
BIP2291E: No constant for parser class name for root element name 'TREEASIS'
I believe that what i need are TreeAsIs.lil & MQSIV2_TREEASIS.cat to copy into WBIMBV5 /lil & /messages directory structures respectively. The problem is i cannot find these file anywhere, also in IBM SupportPacs download website.
Please give me advise on where to get them. Thank you |

you should be able to get them on the system where v2.1 is installed...if i am not wrong, under <v2.1installtion directory>/bin
somewhere i read TREEASIS is an MQseries Support pack IA05... but couldnt find this in IBM site... |

i tried locating the ia05 in the IBM site but couldnt find it.
May be you should ask the guys who developed the v2.1 flows  |

I would not even attempt to migrate this flow as-is.
I would reimplement it properly in v5 or v6.
That is, figure out what business purpose was being accomplished by using the TREEASIS Parser, and figure out how to accomplish that business purpose using good v5 practices.

Thank you sirsi & jefflowrey for your advice.
Finally, i got the required files from MQSI V2 broker machine and then copied them to WBIMB V5 directorie. It worked! My objective here is to keep using the old TREEASIS parser is to minimize the modification on migrated message flow which had been used stably for long tme. Will keep watching if there is any impact of using no longer support component on V5, and i will update here. |
