Our client, one of the most recognized brands in the world, currently is seeking a Middleware Support Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating the administration tasks and operational support for one or more complex UNIX based systems and Middleware components.
This position will evaluate, design, develop, communicate, and monitor the operations standards and procedures. This position will also train staff, sets/enforces standards and acts as a technical resource. The candidate will also be part of a pager support rotation team functioning with shifts during the Days, nights and weekends.
Candidates need to have:
--Knowledge of XML technologies and familiarity with Message Driven Bean architecture
--strong UNIX and have supported Middleware products such as MQ series
