Wait Interval

Are there any dis-advantages to setting the Wait Interval to Ulimited ? (or a very large number)
Does having a long wait interval 'block' other gets from the queue, until that wait interval has expired ?

A brief description / usage example of the Wait Interval would be appreciated.

Only issue with long wait interval is your program will be stuck at the get and your program will not be able to anything else.

Assuming the Queue is defined as shareable the long wait intervals will no prevent any other application from getting messages

Make sure you specify Fail-If-Quiescing option on the GET, so you can bring down the QueueManager gracefully if you have to.
