Hi all,
How can I improve workflow system performance for the following scenario?....
we 've a client /server set up for workflow. The client m/c has MQWorkflow client, MQserise server and Websphere Application Server, the server m/c has MQWorkflow server, mqseries server and DB2 runtime Database.
Our WorkFlow EJB is deployed on the client m/c (on websphere) which uses the workflow Java APIs.
When single user access the workflow server it takes nearly 4 seconds to retrieve 50 workItems. But as number of User increases (concurrent hits) , for the same piece of code (ie to login, read container), time also goes on increasing. If 10 threads are running simulteniously, it takes nearly 2 minutes to retrieve 50 workitems for each thread. I tried increasing execution server instances using buildtime network option. How can I improve on this?
Is there any other way to improve the system performance?....
Any other topology which is more reliable and faster than what i am using?...
I want to use either client-server or 3 tier architecture and not the standalone machine.
Waiting for ur valuable input.
Thanks & Regards
Amit
