Hi Folks ,

I have a problem FMC38002E after updating a WebClient application.
When I try to work with worflow within a web client the next error appears:

com.ibm.workflow.servlet.client.ClientException: java.beans.PropertyVetoException: FMC38002E Locator LOC_LOCATOR is not supported

I get the message error : java.beans.PropertyVetoException FMC38002E Locator LOC_LOCATOR is not supported.

My MQ Workflow version 3.5.0 system is on Win2k Advanced Server with MQseries 5.3 CSD 11.

I use an IBM HTTP Server version 1.3.28

My Portal system uses WPS 5 on AIX with MQseries 5.3 csd 8 and workflow components 3.5 SP3.

Any help is very appreciated ?

Hi,

The version of WebSphere Application Server is 5.1

The message: "com.ibm.workflow.servlet.client.ClientException: java.beans.PropertyVetoException: FMC38002E Locator LOC_LOCATOR is not supported " appears on the SystemOut.log

Best regards,

Hi Vennela ,

I found a result named "FMC38002E at signin on Portal Client"
and you suggest running your application named "MQWFLogin"
but when I runs it the following error appears:
java.beans.PropertyVetoException: FMC38000E No se ha podido ubicar el agente del dominio MQWFAGENT

In English: It can't be located the domain agent MQWFAGENT

Do you know what is happening ?

Any help is very appreciated !

Hi,

you did not mention the procedure how you updated your web client. Did you follow the documented procedure?

My best guess is, that you have running two instances of a workflow client in parallel on the same AppServer. This is only possible when your client uses the Native Java API which is available as SupportPac for MQWF 3.5.

Check the AppServer for multiple WebClient / Monitor applications.

Hi ,

The procedure that I used to update the application was using the Web Administrative Console. Then on the page Applications -> Enterprise Applications , I checked the application "ClienteWebEAR " and click the button "Update", then I selected the file ClienteWebEAR.ear.

Any suggestions are very appreciated.

When you did update with new version of MQWorkflow, have you replaced the existing MQWFClient.ear or created separetly? If you create it separately then while updating in WAS Admin console, select the new MQWFClient.ear and then update it. Then it will work.

Hi ,

I didn't update with new version of MQWorkflow.
I updated a web application named ClienteWebEAR.

Thank you for your answer.
