Hi,
To my understanding the count of number of threads reading from the queue is the number of threads that have opened the queue with open option
MQOO-INPUT-SHARED
MQOO-INPUT-EXCLUSIVE (only 1 in this case).
Is this right?
In such a case a thread with MQOO-INQUIRE+MQOO-FAIL-IF-QUIESCING wont be considered a thread by MQINQ cal. Is this true?
Also a queue opened with (MQOO-INQUIRE+MQOO-FAIL-IF-QUIESCING ) or (MQOO-BROWSE+ MQOO-FAIL-IF-QUIESCING) will they ever give a return code MQRC-OBJECT-IN-USE? _________________ Regards,

Thank Q Jefflowrey.
Things are really clear in the link.
So, the following question:
Also a queue opened with (MQOO-INQUIRE+MQOO-FAIL-IF-QUIESCING ) or (MQOO-BROWSE+ MQOO-FAIL-IF-QUIESCING) will they ever give a return code MQRC-OBJECT-IN-USE?
the answer is no right? _________________ Regards,

I don't think it would. But maybe the description of MQOO_INPUT_EXCLUSIVE will be more clear? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
