I am trying to update the application identity data of a message on a queue. The method on the visual edit software does not work for this field.
Anybody experienced this as well? |

Hi Lillian,
For a faster response in the future, you can post your MQ Visual Edit questions in the Capitalware forum here at www.mqseries.net
As Wayne points out, there are certain fields of the MQMD where you must 'Set Content' appropriately.
Specifically for MQ Visual Edit when you open a queue (File -> Open Queue), you need to select the Context dropdown box (lower-right) and set it to 'Set All Context'.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Roger Lacroix
