If you are talking about JMS resources in WAS like QueueConnectionFactories etc then use wsadmin |

Actually I meant that I wanted to write a script that kind of automated the creation of queue managers and queues(I mean I know I can manually create them using the WS Admin console)..I need a script that can do it esepecially when deploying the application.
Thanks in advance!

You can use your favourite scripting language to do that.
You can use control commands and MQSC commands for that. |

You don't sound like you know enough about what you are trying to do, that using samples would be helpful.
Among other things, it doesn't even really sound like you are using MQ at all, but the embedded messaging in WAS v5 or the SIBus in v6 (both of which are really only good for talking between WAS, and not for talking to anything else). _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Except that the JMSEngine of the SI Bus will allow you to talk to MQ via and external Bus connection that acts as a qmgr to qmgr connection.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you should use them.
Which would you rather bet your company's data on, the MQBridge which is less than a year old, or MQ which has been running great for 10 years? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You mean to say that IBM does not stand 200% behind it with its support ? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Nothing I say here is a statement of anything about IBM's position on any matter or another - everything is entirely my own opinion or personal position.
If you have questions about IBM's direction, you should ask your IBM sales representative.
I have, however, heard that IBM's position is that MQ is the backbone of the ESB and the SOA architecture. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
