Experience 3-5
Description Responsible for the installation, maintenance and engineering of WebSphere MQ on Solaris/Linux.

Involves:
- Queue Manager installations,
- Applying CSD's and Interim Fixes provided by IBM,
- Rolling out new major/minor MQ releases,
- Submitting bug reports to IBM,
- Maintaining/Enhancing the MQ Infrastructure Responsible for providing Level 3 support for WebSphere MQ.

Involves:
- supporting approximately 160 Unix Queue Managers,
- On call rotation,
- daily interaction with the MQ Operations team,
- addressing escalations submitted by the MQ Operations team

Responsible for supporting/working with Application Groups and Application Support Groups. Involves:
- Working closely with other EAI groups which own and support MQ API's,
- Assisting MQ Developers with Application Code Design and code reviews,
- Addressing questions/inquiries/issues from APG and ASG groups

Skills Required
Knowledge of MQ, Unix System Administration, Perl, C
