I don't know of any MQSeries limit of the number of queues you can define. I would say that the maximum number of queues is only limited by available disk space.
Anybody else?

I've worked with a queue manager with over 5000 queues, and while it's a little slow (probably due to the 2000 channels rather than the number of queues!) there is no hardcoded limit to the number of queues.
