Hi
I want my broker to process messages in specific order only for some users who put the message on Input queue.
Is there any way I can do it using some properties in My MQinput node. _________________ Thanks and Regards ,

Hi Mensch,
Use priority settings on the message and pick messages from MQInput based on priority.

Hi Elvis_gn
Thanks for your reply
But there are multiple users putting message on same Input Queue .
If i use priority option It will process every message as per prioority .
I want it to be done for specific users only
Corrct me if I am wrong.. _________________ Thanks and Regards ,

Hi Mensch,
So what do you want to do with the messages that you don't want to process....
Why don't u prevent these unwanted users from putting their messages itself
Who decides which users are to be accepted and which not ? are u referring it from somewhere...is it hardcoded or dynamically you can change the acceptance/non-acceptance of a user ?
Where are the messages coming from...are all the users(acceptable and non acceptable) using a single application to put messages or are running their own apps....?
Too many questions right maybe you could explain the requirement...

Hi elvis_gn
Yeah too many questions ..
but I am sure it has nothing to do with priority ...
I set Order Mode to By User ID in MQinput node .and Its working fine now
Anyways .. _________________ Thanks and Regards ,

Hi
Only two users are putting messages on same queue using single application.
I wanted to process messages in order for only one user . But using By order mode in MQInput , Other user's messages are also going in gurranted orerd ..for which I and my client dont mind
If you set Order Mode to By User ID, the node ensures that messages from a specific user -- identified by the UserIdentifier field in the MQMD are processed in order . _________________ Thanks and Regards ,

Hi Mensch,
Now when I read your first post I realize what you wanted and what I understood...I thought you did not want messages from certain users processed at all....
Glad you got it fixed !! Please mark the topic Solved too...we are then done with this...
