Hi,

Have anyone used IC72 with WMB 6 ? I am not sure if this is supported but offhand can't think why it should not work. However the IBM page
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg24006891&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

Does not mention WMB 6 and gives these Prerequisites:

Quote:

This SupportPac requires:
» WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1 on Windows NT or Windows 2000 or
» WBI Message or Event Broker V5 *
» C compiler (at level supported by broker)
» Java V1.3 (JRE/JDK) or later (tested with Java V1.3)

* The method of invoking the Control Center is different for this version

Many Thanks
Stefan

Its a Category 2 supportpac, so there's no official support, at all.

I'm posting this on behalf of the author:
Quote:
The tester here has just tried the IC72 programs against V6 and they work fine. There is one difference for setting the security exit for the tooling.
In the html provided with the support pack it says to start the tooling using mqsilccsec. For V6 you need to do the following instead:

add the security exit class file for the Tooling to a jar file.
start the tooling and right click on the domain you're connecting to and on the connection pane enter the following in the Security Exit section
Class: enter the class name for the tooling client program(just enter the class name - you don't need the *.class suffic)
JAR File Location: enter the full path and jar file name

The supportpac will be updated to reflect this information.
