Greetings,
Im looking for information and solution to a problem we are having with our HTTPRequest node.
One of our flows uses an HTTPRequest node to make a webservice call.
It is made in the follwoing sequnce.
1. Request flow makes webservice call to another Flow listening on port 7080.
2. The webservice Flow is an HTTPInput node which puts the message to a queue.
3. The 3rd Flow receives message on the queue and sends back a reply.
4. Reply Flow picks message off the queue and sends back reply via the HTTPReply node.
5. The reply should now reach the initial requestor (1).
As has been happening for the last 3 or so months, We have to restart our broker regularly (once per day is norm) when we receive this message.
BIP3152S: A Web Service request detected a Socket error whilst invoking a web service located at host localhost in port 7080 on path /webcall...
BIP3151S: A timeout occured whilst performing a TCP/IP socket operation. Operation ::select(). Error Code: 0. Timeout in seconds:120. Error Text: Error 0;...
Once this problem occurs the requesting flow is unable to receive any replies made to the web service, and any further request will always have a timeout on the call to the web service. Restarting the broker is the only solution that works. Killing processes do not.
We are using WBI v5 CSD4 on AIX and are testing CSD6 in the hope it corrects this problem for us. Looking thru the ibm release notes , there are various fixes for HTTPnodes although it is not easy to determine whether the patches for any HTTP node error strictly applies to us.
Would anyone be able to confirm if this problem has existed anywhere and whether any solution was found to this problem.
Thank you. |

Lo,
Did you ever find a solution for this problem? I am currently experienceing this problem and we are on Message Broker 5.0.4 on AIX - so our problems are similar. Did you ever try the mqsireload? If so, did that work instead of bouncing the broker?
Please let me know,
