Hi,

- we have WSMQ Server installed on HP Unix Linux

- no default qmgr declared

- when using amqsput with the command:
(we are in dty: /opt/mqm/samp/bin)

> amqsput SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE
we get the message:

[mqm@lyabv23 bin]$ ./amqsput SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
MQCONN ended with reason code 2012
[mqm@lyabv23 bin]$

is the pb cause we are not connected to the Qmgr?

how to do the test of amqsput-amqsget anyway?

You need to specify the qmgr name if there is no default qmgr:
Code:
./amqsput SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE  QMGRNAME

I'm concerned about that 2012 however.... are you sure the install of mq completed okay. Are you able to start the qmgr (strmqm QMGRNAME) and see it running with dspmq?
