Can someone give me a quick rundown of the difference between these? I know they are in different sections of the message tree - OutputRoot."MQMD"."Expiry" and OutputRoot.Properties.ExpirationTime = 60 - but what is the difference? Is ExpirationTime a GMT expiration time and Expriry a length of time?

Please assist,

GRIFF

GRIFF,

I do not know, what ExpirationTime means, but Expiry in MQMD is a counter in tenths of a second, until a message expires. The Expiry value is counted down. When the value 0 is reached, the message expires. A value of -1 means unlimited
