Hi all:
I'm looking for informatión about the future (a projection for past 2010) of MQ and Transactional Servers (especially IMS & CICS).
I'm searching on IBM & Google but i don't find anything that satisfied me(or i don't know how to find).
Please, if something can help me with a link or other things i shall be a lot of thanks.
Thanks in advance.

IBM's competitors are probably interested too! so I doubt you'll find much.

Need to clarify what's going to happen between now & 2010, first.

Guess at MQ/SOAP (pretty much here already). CICS Web Services, Distribution Lists on z/OS (Please), generally fewer platform specific features. Maybe simplification of hearders - maybe more headers. Hubless Hubs. MQ on OS X (OK Willow Technology are there already I think). Better bridges. OTMA go AWAY, please - OTMA stinks.

Go on - make some up for yourself - it's fun

Yes, they are.

Although why it took them more than a year to port from OpenBSD to OS X is a different question.

In all cases thank you very much for your interest. You have given me ideas
I'm thinking about of evolution of SOAP , z/OS Web Services , GRID computing, especially with IMS and CICS and , of course , MQ
I read enhancements for IMS V9 (No-pair Versions is over DB) & a little for IMS V10 (Pair versions is over TM).
My knowledge of CICS is limited , but i need make a comparation with IMS to evaluate a potential migration from IMS to CICS (our DBs are 70% DB2 , the rest DL/I Haldb but they are the most important -Clients-)
My intention is to make a presentation ("aunque" i'm wrong).
Newly thanks
