Hi All

We are trying to integrate some external agencies with our application. These Trading Partnerss run Online Transactions and Batch Jobs. We are considering integrating using Web Services. MQ is an option. But management wants to go with Web Services.

I think WebServices is good for applications that make only online calls.The online traffic is not that high.

My concern with using Web Services is Performance in batch mode. I believe MQ is ideal for high loads (which we have in Batch Processes). (Keeping performance in view).

Can u pl. share your thoughts/experiences.

They didn't say it had to be Web Services over HTTP, right?

MQ is a viable transport for Web Services, under the WS/Reliable Messaging standard...
