I was reading some information on NETPRTY setting on CLUSRCVR channels. It appears that there is some confusion as to how NETPRTY actually works.
The following in bold is from IBM, explaining NETPRTY.
NETPRTY is only used when there are two clusrcvrs on the same
cluster qmgr. If both are available the one with the highest netprty
is used. The NETPRTY parameter is used to determine the channel used if
multiple channels exist to THE SAME QMGR.
If you have intended to use NETPRTY to send to 2 different queue managers an clwexit <either written or from 3rd party> would have to be implemented.
This is why I'm having to use MC76 still w/ MQ 5.3. The ability to send to a particular queue manager during normal operation and the "fail-over" ability during a planned or un-planned outage.
Just thought this was interesting info to pass along!!
