Hi guys
I am getting a strnge error when I am trying to create a basic flow.
There is an arning symbol on the MQOUTPUT node and the following error
"
Configurable property "Reply-to queue" on node "MQOutput" has a custom property editor. The BAR editor will only allow this property to be edited as type String."
Probably due to this, I am not able to add my Messageflows to the BAR file.
I am stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Since when I had installed the last fixpak I got same error for the MQOutput nodes which has an empty ReplyToQueue and/or ReplyToQueueManager property. In this case the Destination Mode is Destination List and everything seemed correct before upgrading
Version of the toolkit: 5.1.7
Thanks in advance,

This warning should not prevent you from adding the flow to the BAR file. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff, you are right - but this warning appears strange to me. I just would like to understand where is the problem coming. |

I applied FP 7 to a system that was running ok. Now I get this same warning message for each mqoutput node in each flow. If you look at the detail when you save the .bar file it says it didn't update the message flow components because they are undeployable |

Did you rebuild your projects (and your workspace) after applying FP7? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Well.
It's worth trying a clean launch first. add "-clean" to the command line options for the v5 launcher, and then launch the Toolkit again.
Are you using the default workspace or a different workspace? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I'm using a different workspace - named for the next release of the application. Interesting enough, the problem only happens when I export some message flows off another configuration manager and import them onto the config mgr we are using to test a new release. I restored back to this morning's backup of the eclipse workspace on the test machine and the problem went away. Both platforms are MQV5 FP 7 |

That doesn't make any sense to me. What, exactly, are you doing? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

We have two platforms which are techinically supposed to match as far as message flow, message sets, etc. Unfortunately, my cohort here prefers to make changes on the "about to be production" platform rather than the test platform. I exported his changed message flows off the "soon to be production" platform and imported them onto the test platform. By the way, we applied fix packs in the same order - don't ask me why - a very sore subject. Anyways I'm trying to bring test into compliance with the 'soon to be production' and running into problems I've described. |

Let me try again.
You do not, as far as I know, export ANYTHING out of a configuration manager.
Everything should be migrated at the Eclipse level.
I assume that's what you actually mean, and just said it wrong. But... I don't like to assume. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You're right, I'm exporting/importing using the eclipse tool. I'm old school and call it the config manager, regardless of the tooling I'm using to access it. |
