Hi
I am using IBM Supplied AMT SAmples for sending the File to Queue
Program Name : SendFile.java
I am getting the Following Error:
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\amt\samples\java>java com.ibm.mq.amt.samples.S
endFile -b test
>>> START AMI Sample SendFile
create()
open()
>>> AMI SendFile experienced an Exception ...
java.lang.Exception: <<< AmError >>>
from method[open]
of class[AmSession]
with reasonCode[110]
>>> END AMI Sample SendFile
Wat does the error mean and how to solve it
Regards
Nik |

IMPORTANT NOTE
After June 2003, IBM has no plans to enhance the AMI with any new functions or platforms. IBM will however continue to support the AMI as described in the Technical Support sectioin below.
We would recommend that customers do not use the AMI for any new projects and do not extend usage in existing projects. This recommendation does not apply to functions shipped by other IBM products, such as DB2, that have made use of the AMI. IBM is working to ensure that these products are able to provide the same functionality as today without the AMI.

It means you shouldn't be doing anything NEW with the AMI. See this thread for a related discussion about using MQ to move files:

Use XMS instead. A link was posted recently by cmartin. |

nik_iway tries to use AMI java, so he should use JMS or base java not XMS which is for C/C++.
