Hi all,
I recently downloaded and installed mqserver6 for aix. i verified the local installation as per the aix quick beginnings manual and eveything worked fine. But when verified the client installation (installed on the server machine itself), it returned a reason code 2063

$ ./amqsputc QUEUE1 saturn.queue.manager
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
MQCONN ended with reason code 2063

i verified the client installation by logging in as user 'mqm'

pls help me.

My deja is all vu; isn't this the same as:

What steps have you taken to check the security so far; perhaps displaying the security settings or trying to get/put messages from the command prompt? Does that all work fine?

The reason codes are documented in the manuals. But also MQ provides a little tool for checking names of reason codes on the command line

Code:

C:\> mqrc 2063

2063 0x0000080f MQRC_SECURITY_ERROR

The 'mqrc' tool tells you the name, doesn't tell you exactly what it means - for this you'll have to search in the manuals or on Google
