Hi,
I've been meeting problems to start of the QueueManager. Process need more time to be created than they used to, and I have no idea where it could come from, since I have modified the platform.
Has anyone met this kind of problems ?
Could someone explain to me what does"strmqm"do and which resources arre needed during the initialization phase ?
Thx |

how much is "more time" and how much is "used to"?
the ressourcedsneeded during start up are cpu, disk and storage, of course network too comes into account.
what was changed since the startup was "used to"? how about the number of mq objects? how about number of messages in queues? number of channels? clustering? any other applications that comsume cpu? _________________ Regards, Butcher |

and, are you re-starting after a controlled shutdown of the queue manager? if the qmgr needs to replay through a lot of logs, it will add to startup time.... _________________ -wayne |
