I added a queue manager. By mistake entered a wrong parameter. But when I tried to edit I could not. Neither I could delete that queue manager. Is that true or is there a way to edit or delete a queue manager. I looked at the doc but could not find.

thanks

What parameter are you talking about? Some are changable, some not.

Sample:
- the no. of logfiles is changable - but requires a restart
- the size of logfiles is not changable - you have to recreate the QMgr

You can recreate default objects using
Code:
strmqm -c

I think you need to reformat your harddrive.

You should enable striping to ensure that disk access is not randomized.

I think you really need to open a PMR with IBM Service (and ignore any helpful comments from Jeff).....

What's really needed here is some formal training and a bit more initiative on jeevan's part.

I am working hard. Reading documentation then only i ask question.

for example, when I look for the SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL, in the documentation, it does not say where to create and how it uses. In that situation, I need to ask question.

Any help is appreciated

thanks

What does the documentation say about the process for creating a model queue?

Where did you look for that process? Where should you have looked? Which manual has information about creating MQ objects?

Why would the process for creating SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL be any different than the process for creating any other model queue?

My advice to you then is "work harder, much much harder".

A simple search of the Information Center (you should know where this is located, beacuse you've been directed to it on numerous occasions) using the criteria 'SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL' turned up a description as to its use.

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/topic/com.ibm.mq.amqzag.doc/mxdflts.htm

Do you require more of an explanation ?
