Hi,

I'm trying to make perl for mq work.
When trying to connect to Q Mgr getting MQRC_Q_MGR_NOT_AVAILABLE.
In /var/mqm/error/AMQERR01.log there is AMQ9541: CCID supplied for data conversion is not supported.
"Progrma ended either source CCSID '916' or the target CCSID '861' not valid or is not currently supported."

QMgr running on Linux RH3, I'm running the script on the same machine,
with MQSERVER env variable set to SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN/TCP/HOSTNAME.

Are you really trying to convert from Iceland to Hebrew?

What is the ccsid of the qmgr (dis qmgr ccsid) and are you setting MQCCSID environment variable?

Setting MQCCSID=916 solved the problem,
now mqi working fine.
I had same problem with python mqi, MQCCSID solved it also.
