Hi All

I wish to look at a message AS IS in a Queue ,even if it has MQMD,MQRHF2,other headers & user data, i would love to look at these headers also AS they are physically in that Queue , Please let me know if there is any free downloadable utility that can do this.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Kolban's MQJExplorer also lets you look at the headers, I believe. See: http://www.kolban.com/mqjexplorer/

You can try out my MQ Visual Edit program. It allows you to browse, edit, delete, etc... messages in a queue.

You can download a beta version at:
http://www.capitalware.biz/beta.html

PQEdit is NOT freeware.

The beta version of MQ Visual Edit is free (just released v0.3.5 tonight).

I find this program very useful in putting and retrieving messages in/from a queue. Options are provided to retrieve message with or without header data.

Thanks.

Since I did not win the lottery and nobody gave me truck-load of money, I am charging a small fee for MQ Visual Edit. I hope that since releasing MQ Visual Edit as an official product, people who find it useful will be willing to pay a small fee.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Did you try WMQTool ? You can get it from www.niratul.com. I used it and found that it is very useful too.
