Is it possible for me to find out from which MQ server and queue , a local queue on my server is receiveing messages ?

How can i find receiver channel corresponding to the a Local Queue ?

There isn't a one-to-one mapping between receiver channels and local queues. The common situation is for all the traffic between two queue managers to flow down a single channel and be delivered to the relevant target by the queue manager (or the dead letter queue if this is impossible). I commend the "Intercommunication" manual to you, where this is described more completely than I can manage.

The MQMD on a message will be default contain the name of the queue manager that put the message, but this can be easily overriden by the putting application. Perhaps you could post some details of your actual requirement and an alternative will suggest itself (or be suggested by some of the clever people who frequent this board).

If the RCVR Channel is active and has the QLocal in question open for output you can see it's name by running:

dis qs(QUEUE.NAME) type(handle) all
