Hi,
I am getting the following error when running the mqsicreateexecutiongroup command from the command line:
Quote: |
Unable to obtain account details for channel MCA user ID.
WebSphere MQ was unable to obtain the account details for MCA user ID '[domainId]@[localhost]'. This user ID was the MCA user ID for channel 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' on queue manager 'ConfgMgrQueueMgr' and may have been defined in the channel definition, or supplied either by a channel exit or by a client.
Ensure that the user ID is correct and that it is defined on the Windows local system, the local domain or on a trusted domain. For a domain |
It's basically treating the domain Id I am logged in as as a local user id.
I had this same problem with the toolkit and was able to workaround this by running the wmb command console and launching toolkit (wmbt.exe) from this console. This then passed the credentials (ie user and domain) correctly and succesfully authenticated.
I am executing the command from the wmb command console.
Is there a fix for this - or atleast a work-around?
Using WMBv6 (base version) on Win2003 Server.
TIA,
Pete |

Interestingly however, the mqsideploy command authenticates and executes succesfully when called from the same command console (after having created the execution group from the toolkit)

You should definitly apply RP1 for the Toolkit. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Is your NetBIOS machine name the same as your logged on user name, by any chance? Windows doesn't like this, and can cause the exact the problem you are seeing.
