JDBC adapter manual mentioned that the all values except the key is set to "CxIgnore" when the verb = "Delete", but this can be customised.

But nowhere in the manual mentioned HOW I can set it to be NOT CxIgnore ??

Quote
"Delete notification: When the connector encounters a Delete event in the event table, it creates a business object of the type specified by the event, sets the key values for the business object (using the keys specified in the event table), and sends it with the Delete verb to the integration broker. All values other than the key values are set to CxIgnore. If any of the non-key fields are significant at your site, the value of the fields can be modified as needed."

you might want to try setting default values in the ASBO

Sorry Ram,

can you explain further? I've ODA the BO and have not modified anything, is that what you meant by "default values" in ASBO?

For the "Insert" and "Update" verb, the BO was created fine with all values filled fine, just for the "Delete" verb, only the key value is filled in, and all other values from the table are not filled in because of the "CxIgnore" which instruct the adapter NOT fill in the values.

Hi Ram,

the problem is once the verb "Delete" is detected, all the fields are set to CxIgnore (meaning whether it's a CN=column name, or some value in the "default value" column), and the BO being returned is just a key value with all fields being blank.

Say for a BO, there is only a key field and a field-A, the returned value will be

Key = 1234
field-A = CxIgnore (whether I set this to the a CN=, or default value XX)
