Hi ,
Im new to MQSI 2.1..

while deploying the sample message flow , i got the following error in log.
BIP1528E: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError in Configuration Manager BrokerManager class run method.

A java.lang.OutOfMemoryError was caught by the Configuration Manager BrokerManager class run method. This means the Java Virtual Machine has exhausted its available memory heap.

Stop the Configuration Manager using the mqsistop command. Increase the maximum size of the Java Virtual Machine memory heap using the mqsichangeconfigmgr command, specifying the -j option. Refer to the WebSphere MQ Integrator Administration Guide for guidance. Then restart the Configuration Manager and retry the operation. Repeat if necessary until the error no longer occurs.

can any one help me ,what exactly the problem is..
Thanks in advance.

Hi Maverick_in,

Please try a search on this forum...I tried it for you, but I found so many, that I could not fgure out which would be most suitable for you

You can increase the JVM for the Data flow engine, but you'll find some suggestions here asking you to first find the reasons for, the requirement for increase.

R u on Windows, AIX...?

What is the system configuration....?

Regards.

Hi Maverick_in,

My suggestion to search this forum still stands....

Anyway, if you do a mqsichangeconfigmgr - j 256 you should change the value to 256MB....I am not sure what it is by default...in v5 it is 128MB.

See if it fixes the problem.

Regards.

...or the error message that you were given:

BTW the default max heap size is 256Mb on V6; 128Mb on V5.
