I am using MO71 version 5.3.4. Is there a latest version to that?? can you tell me where can i download it as i am not able to get it from IBM. I am trying to display messages from 208000 to 209000, but i can't put in that range. Do i need to change any settings or this tool is not capable of doing that???

Not quite. The display range is 100 messages but you can set the start of the range. However I believe the range asked for is out of scope for the size of the start of range field....

I just looked into the range thing and i could get messages above 100 and Different range .
I am not sure why its not working for you. Did you try displaying a smaller range and see if it works. I tried around 8000-8500.

I know that the smaller range works, but i am in a scenario where i have around 280000 messages in the queue, now lets say if i want to view last 100 messages i have to put the range as 279900,280000 but by default it won't take take the last 0, i think it reaches the limit.

Hi,

It appears that the field only allows 12 characters. I would send an email to the author, Paul Clarke of IBM, and report the problem.

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Hi,

surely not the best way, but you could use qload of support pack mo03 to copy the messages from one queue to another empty one.

Greetings

javagate,
when you get a new version of MO71, all you need is the new .exe. All the other config files in that same directory are upward compatible. So just rename the old exe to something else, stick in the new one, and you are good to go.

I guess it never occurred to me that someone would want to see the 280 thousanth message! I'll look into modifying the code for the next version (which hopefully will be available within a month).

Cheers,
Paul.
