Hi all,
My MQ is using the OAM to give authorization for different ID to access its own MQ Queue etc. I hv got a case as shown in the following
JMS Program called ABC using its ID - A to connect to its queue A via channel name A. When the program put/get message from queues, error 2035 will be thrown. Somehow the case will happen but some not.
From the OAM log, I can see that Application ABC somehow use its ID - A to connect to the Queue Manger and queue via its channel A. That is absolutely true. But somehow, it uses another ID - B via its channel A to connect to the Queue manager and queues. Error 2035 is thrown.
May I know how can I solve this case?
I am using the MQ 5.3 patch 11 and running on solaris 9. |

You say that you only get the 2035 occasionally?

What log is this? There is no "OAM" log....

Did you check for a MCAUser setting on the svrconn side of channel A? _________________ -wayne |

The log is tracking which ID had access which queues for what action

I didn't put the MCAUser in the svrconn channel
The point is I didn't know why the program using the wrong ID to access the MQ queues but it is sometimes happened |

Henry, lets try this again:
where are you seeing that userid "b" is being used? A file? "mq events"? please explain the "oam log" more, as there is nothing in MQ that does this, unless you use authorization events.
So there's no MCAUseriD set, is there a Security exit set on the svrconn end of channel? If not, the only answer left is that JMS application is setting different userids. _________________ -wayne |

I had put a service under the manager. when there is any authorization event, it will be captured onto the log as specific in the Q manager also. |
