Hi ..

Im pretty new to JMS and i dont have any idea on functionality even theoritically. But i have one doubt on resubmitting messages. When i try to resubmit the message either chnages are coming in MessageId OR DeliveryCount. When observe the MessageId.. it is generaing new MessageId. But if it changes the DeliveryCount ... sometimes its getting increased by 1 OR getting decreased by 1. Im not understanding the wats the exact functionality of Resubmitting the Message.. Please help me to understand this functionality ... Tnx Advanced

Hi,

if it's a basic thing it's probably well documented somewhere. What are you trying to do, setup a request/reply scenario? Sounds like you're doing that and trying to resend messages you didn't get response for?

Hi ..

Actually wat u said is correct. Im submitting the message but im not getting the response. If it is the case wats happening there.. i mean sometimes its getting increased/decreased. Just i wanted to know the mechanism which involved in that DelievrCount .. pls help me.. if u know any kind od URL's to fallow JMS pls give me.. I dnt knw even how to setup all the thngs to run even simple program... pls help me in this ...
