Hello,
I would like to promote properties from a node to a mainflow using the Toolkit.
I would like to know if the following case is possible :
SUBFLOW 1 has the following property DATASOURCENAME
SUBFLOW 2 has the following property DATASOURCENAME
SUBFLOW 3 has the following property DATASOURCENAME
SUBFLOW1, SUBFLOW2, SUBFLOW3 are subsets of MAINFLOW
DATASOURCENAME property is promoted to MAINFLOW as DATASOURCENAME.
The DATASOURCENAME = PROD property is set only once in MAINFLOW.

Hi cmmatei,
If you promote the properties to the main flow, in the Bar file it will appear under three different subflows, so you will have to fill it thrice.
What you can do is, declare a User Defined property in the main flow and make use of that property in your subflows...but this might mean change of code, which might be too late....you might as well fill it thrice 
Note: the vice versa of declaring a User defined property in each subflow will lead to the same problem as above.

I tested the following tip and it works very well.
I promoted DATASOURCENAME for SUBFLOW 1, 2 and 3.
Then in the MAINFLOW I promoted the property for each SUBFLOW. At this level, the tip is to put the promoted properties under the same group, same label.
So I have now only one property in MAINFOW which points to the 3 promoted properties of each SUBFLOW.
