Hi,

I am getting an AMQ4061 error when I tried to ping to a Cluster reciever channel created using MQ Explorer of IBM Websphere MQ 5.3 version .

But I was able to ping to the same cluster receiver channel when I used the mqsc commands to create the same.

Is there any problem in creating the cluster sender and receiver channels using MQ Explorer?

Short answer: No

Medium answer: There's no problem creating cluster channels using MQ Explorer.

Long answer: Generally there's no problem but a number of factors can affect it.

Seriously, there's not really much in your post to go on. What version of MQ are you using, with what CSD? What platform are you on? What steps have you already taken to resolve the AMQ4061 (no point "us" going through a lot of stuff you've already tried)? Have you beaten the network admins (solves a lot of MQS problems and even if it doesn't, it's sort of fun)?

To this end, can I respectfully recommend the search button above & the IBM knowledge base (not just for this but as valuable sources of MQ information)? I find this forum a treasure trove.
