Hi I am getting this Message when i am install the Monitor wizard.
"The Specified database belong to a WBI Monitor version that is before the previous version. Please use the Migration utility of the previous version to migrate this database before running this installation wizard."
Even i created a new database but it is creating only the system tables.Even after installation it is not showing any new tables, except the system tables.
Any help is appreciated. |

Hi,
Did you sort out your queue manager problem?
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=27663&highlight=
If the old queue manager (or bits of it) are still in place they could be pointing to an old (and now probably non-existant) database rather than the one you're creating?
Very odd error though _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

If I had to say, I'd say you've got something (registry settings?) hanging round from your previous settings, especially if you just blasted it out from the GUI. If you're happy with regedit I'd have a look & see if there's something knocking loose in there.
If you're not, I suspect it's rebuild time.
Again I refer you to the System Administration manual. Shut down and drop (in that order) your databases, shut down and delete (again in that order!) the queue manager(s) and use the instructions in the manual to remove any remenants. Start from clean and see if that gets you going.
Unless another kind person in here has a better idea, and a worse one might take some imaginiation.
It's my experience that, once a complex product like MQ or a database has been confused on Windows there's not too many places left to go on the problem resolution trail. Take this as an object lesson in the danger of a GUI, and the importance of making sure things have stopped before deleteing them! My best guess as a cause is that beause the queue manager was quiceseing when you deleted it, the GUI couldn't delete all the services and complete the clean up.
Good luck to you. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
