If you install just the v6 MQExplorer on your windows machine, then you can create client connections to all of your AIX machines.
This will require some setup of SVRCONN channels - and you will probably want to enable SSL or some other thing to ensure that only the right people can connect to those client channels on your AIX machines.
Then you can add each queue manager to your MQ Explorer console, and control it from your desk. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It can. It doesn't have to.
You can configure channels from a local qmgr to all the others, and configure default routes to those qmgrs. Then in the v6 Explorer, you can add the AIX Qmgrs "by way of" the local qmgr. It's an option in the GUI screen when you add a queue manager.
This would also allow you to set up all the AIX machines to use remote event queues - that are local on your own qmgr - and monitor those events from your machine.
But then your workstation is an integral part of your production environment. And that's usually a bad idea. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
