I am trying to manage the following feature on a customized MQWF client using activeX API:
I want to build for every work item a view of it's history through the workflow. Info to be seen are such as: date, time, user who performed a certain activity and the activity done itself.
My question, is this information direclty and somehow simply accessible using API calls, does it requieres to perform action during build time ?
Or is it simplier to directly query the audit trail table from DB2 (Currently what I am planing to do, but it implies a direct connection to the DB, which I would like to avoid if possible).
Thank you for the help.

PS to Ved: I know we talked about the topic, but at that time I didn't have clear enough ideas.

Hi,
You can retrieve those details using ActiveX Monitor API's without any extra setting/work. Pls check the Monitor API's and sample provided by me for more details. If you need more information on this please email me.
Regards
Ved.

You can use the Monitor ActiveX control as Ved indicates, or you can use the ProcessMonitor API to obtain the same information without the graphic display.
Good Luck

Hi,
When you want to retrieve the Timestamp parameters (like Last Modified/Start Time etc etc). Please remember to initialise DateTime Object using Execution Service Object and only then retrieve the Timestamp parameter for an activity.
