Hi,
while im trying to create a physical format for message set im getting the below error.
BIP1813W: Message repository resource (Message Set, Samp2) not locked: Freezing Message Set operation not permitted.
The Freezing Message Set operation is not permitted because the message repository resource (Message Set, Samp2) is not locked, or is locked by another user.
Check out Message Set, Samp2 and retry the operation.
but when i checked about the error code(BIP1813W) it is specfying about the patches and all.i have updated the patches in my system.
can i know where exactly is the problem,i mean problem with the installation or the process what im doing.

thanks for responding.
I have Checked out the message set and started creating the Physical format, but i it is getting the error what i have mentioned earlier.

Drat.
I don't remember all the details about 2.1, but there's some gotchas on adding physical formats at certain points.
But see if it's an issue with just this message set or if it's a problem with your Tooling or configmgr. Try creating a new message set and immediately adding the physical format.
