Hi all,
I have W2K sp 2, IBM JDK 1.3, MQIPT v1.1.2.
I run MQIPT as a service. It looks strange, but it doesn't work.
Everything shows that MQIPT started successfully, all ports and IPs are correct.
It works for some time and stops. Without any errors or entries in log files. It looks like there is no network connection.
I have a previous version 1.1 on other server and everything works perfect (only difference is IBM JDK v. 1.2) except that it crashes time to time.
I received no answer from IBM support.
Does anybody have some experience working with MQIPT on W2K? Any problems?
Thank you

I'm not running MQIPT as a service, but I can get it running in the following environment:
- W2K SP2
- MQIPT 1.2.2
- java 1.3.0 that shipped with WebSphere
I would guess that something is wrong with the classpath?

Hi, I don't think that something is wrong with a classpath. In case of bad classpath, it would be impossible to launch administration client on that server.
As I mentioned, IPT sometimes works and sometimes it stops to respond. Without any error messages. At the moment we have started to look to my problem with IBM support. But they still have no answers.
I had some strange errors before when I used IPT version 1.1 as a service. Service used to crash time to time without any reason. I set a corrective acction for that service: restart if service fails. It helped.
